Wesley McBratney

Wesley attended the University of California, Davis, where he earned two degrees, including Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior, alongside Viticulture and Enology. Following his graduation, he went directly into the lab, working on everything from Alzheimer’s research to studying the complex science of wine, contributing to one of the top wineries in Napa Valley. After his time in science, he took over the family business of model train sales and commercial real estate management and eventually found his way into the finance industry. With his wide range of experience, Wesley made a stop at Equitable Advisors and Edward Jones but ultimately has found his home here at TRS.

Wesley has a talent for taking complex subjects, simplifying them, and educating others in an exciting way. He constantly shows up enthusiastic about his role and has found that the people are his favorite part of the work. As Service Lead, he enjoys leading our team to serve clients by taking the “dream” of retirement, creating a plan, and making it a reality.

Wesley has lived in various places throughout his life, including multiple areas of California, Hawaii, and now Lake Stevens, Washington. His many hobbies match his many experiences as he enjoys wine tasting, fine dining, weightlifting, rock climbing, hiking, and travel. When he leaves the office, you can find him enjoying the company of his wonderful wife and son.
