Katie is a Washingtonian through and through as she was born and raised in Seattle. She has experienced many different careers, but the most important aspect of her experience is that she loves social interaction, talking to new people, and building relationships that last.
Throughout her life, she has combined a variety of experiences as she earned a degree in early childhood education and development. Katie followed that with a 22-year career in elementary education, non-profit and enrichment programming, and parks and recreation where she specialized in special events, youth programming, and senior fitness. She hopes to bring her passion for developing relationships and helping others to her current role here at TRS and we are lucky to have her.
When she leaves the office Katie loves to spend time with her husband, three teenage daughters, two stepdaughters, two dogs, her parakeet, and rabbit. Aside from family time, she has many hobbies and goals in her personal life. She enjoys staying in shape, the great outdoors, spending time with animals through her work in sanctuaries and flexing her creative muscles with her art.
